Unlost is an extension of Unbroken Journal, founded because we love Found Poetry in all its forms and we feel it isn’t being given nearly enough attention in the literary world.

We publish new work every Sunday.

What is found poetry?

Found Poetry has been described as the literary equivalent of a collage.

Found poems take existing texts, such as newspaper articles, street signs, letters, books or poems, and choose words and phrases to pick out and make a completely new piece from. Creating a found poem is almost like going on a treasure hunt. Just about anything can be a source for a found poem, even spoken words. (This information is from Poets.org.)
